Sağır was born 1981 in Trabzon. He graduated Sakarya University, Sociology Department in 2003. Sağır, completed post graduate Institute of Social Science, Sociology in 2004-2006 and PHD Degree Sakarya University, Instute of Social Science, Sociology, Sakarya, Turkey in 2006-2010. Sağır studied post-doctora about “religious-spiritual counselling in USA and Turkey” The City University of New York (USA) with Bryan S. Turner. His research is largely focused in Culture and Identity, and, death, migration, sports and music cultures and identities. Sağır has a book name of the “Death Sociology”. He is working at Karabuk University as Assoc. Prof since 2015.
